This isn't really a "store".
What this really is happens to be what I'd want in a "Simple Living" store if I was to walk into one. Of course to make it a profitable "store" I had to do a lot of searching to find actual stores that would pay me to feature their items.

It's not all about money though. There's links here (and there will be more as we go) to stores and products that I don't have a financial interest in.

Well, I've got a start on it anyway and I'll be working to find more items as we go.

I also want to be able to pass on my thoughts on a simpler lifestyle.
I plan on adding articles about gardening, home and workplace organizing, cars, trucks, food, energy. Might even talk about finances and alterative energy sources.

I might delve into simple toys and games.
I stink at most games but I love toys. There's something about a man that never quite grows up. I'm 54 going on about 16 most days. Some days I'm even younger. I think you'll get a kick out of my thoughts on toys.

Everybody needs Tools on the Old Homestead.
I'll probably do a lot of talking about tools. Simple living doesn't mean primitive tools either. Some high tech tools can really simplify life's tasks.

So stay tuned.
